If you like to use your camera on a tripod you really should have one of these. Using the timer gets old if you like to get in the picture yourself. I could never get a group of people to stand for more than 2 pictures when using the timer, but with this remote it's easier to take several pictures in a row. Easy to use with my Nikon D5000. Very quick setup (push the info button twice (the button on the bottom left of the camera back) --> select the icon that looks like a S in a square and change it to the icon that looks like a remote--> setup your camera for the shot and push the remote button). We have a small apt and have not checked the range yet, but so far we are very satisfied.Customer Review: Handy accessory

Got the usual excellent turnaround from Adorams (3 days). Remote is exactly what it says. Works great out of the box. Easy to keep in pocket for use when needed. Only down side is that it is so compact it would be easy to misplace (not unlike the SD memory cards). It does have a little carry case, so that helps. Can't beat this for the money. I'm surprised there are much more expensive remotes listed for the camera. Can't see what the use would be. Highly recommended.Customer Review: Wireless Remote

This is a great little product. Especially handy when taking pictures in low light applications where pressing the button on the camera can distort the picture. Used it most recently to take low light pics of the family in front of the Christmas tree. Worked great.Customer Review: nice

Pros:
- "syncs" instantly with the camera (you just have to put the camera on remote mode)
Cons:
- the range is easily disrupted. you really have to point straight at the camera for it to work properly at a close distance.
