Recharges from stone-cold dead in only 2 1/2 hours, yet while doing my photo-related jobs I've been consistently able to shoot over a thousand pictures a day and at the end of each one the battery indicator still showed half a charge left. True, I was not using the camera's built-in flash, but considering how often I was reviewing shots and zooming in on details to check for sharpness (I often hand-hold in low light so I want to make sure there's no motion blur) this is very impressive performance. My Fuji S3, using four rechargeable AA 2500mAh nickel metal hydride Energizers, totally used up two sets of batteries in the same amount of time. It's a great comfort knowing I won't have to stop and change batteries or grab a backup camera at some critical moment. Customer Review: Nikon EN-EL3e

I bought this battery, since the picture shows a true Nikon battery, so I paid the price of a Nikon battery only to receive a BS Copy of this battery. This is Fraud and I will call my CC company and dispute the charges. DANGER DANGER

Battery functions as advertised. It's unfortunate that the batteries for the D100 isn't compatable with the 300 but that's ok. It's a Nikon so I expect it to last. I have batteries for my D100 that are 6 years old and they function almost like new. Being a Nikon battery I expect the same from these. By the way, the two different batteries are compatable with the different chargers. Go figure.
