You wanted my opinion .... I've been using the case about 6 weeks now .... I wear my camera almost daily as I do roof inspections:
Leather is high quality and fairly thick, not a thin "driving glove" leather ....
S8000 fits very snug at first but soon leather stretches to conform perfectly .....
Magnet closure .... At first I wanted some sort of snap or velcor closure but quickly saw the benefits of the magnetic closure .... I love it and as the case molds to the camera the two magnets are working into the leather becoming stronger as time passes and the leather wears down .....
Belt loop .... Nice fit works as you would expect .....
Card storage space inside bag, if needed, I don't use the feature but it is nice and works fine if required ....
Price, yea a tad bit pricey but best in class makes it BEST long term value .....
Yes I like this case for my S8000, which I like very much too!
