I purchased this from a prominent retailer Croma, on 14th, and today- 21st, I have had to return it to the store for 'repairs.' The lens would open half way, and the motor then kept 'jumping' and refused to fully extend the lens to start up the picture taking.
Its so frustrating that in India, the store gave me a '4 day ' return, but on Day 7, it has reached Nikon Service Center.
I love Amazon sitting in India for this very reason.
